Since 2002, the village Cream Teas have been held at the Mission Hall. Before that, they were held in various volunteer villagers' gardens, and were called "Teas on the Lawn". But in 1995, the whole of Old Bincombe Lane volunteered to hold the event, on their shared front gardens. This was almost certainly the most successful of all these events, with 138 people attending and raising £227. These photos were taken by one of those residents, Jim Willis (who had also masterminded the event).
