Firstly, thanks so much to those that came and helped get the furniture back into the Mission Hall after its closure for floor works a few weeks ago. We hope you all agree that the floor looks much improved after its treatment.
Portland Spy Ring talk, Friday 6th March - Our next Mission Hall Trust event is a talk, by Brigadier Jeff Little from Osmington, on the Portland Spy Ring scandal that shook the area and the country in the early 1960's - Jeff has made a study of this and tells a fascinating story. The evening will start with a 2-course meal with a distinctly Russian theme (no, not cabbage soup!) cooked for us by Helen Furness (Yelena Furneska). Start 7.30, doors open not a moment before 7 p.m. As always, Bring Your Own Booze.
