3 July 2018 - Temporary closure Plaisters Lane

Cllr Ian Bruce has forwarded the following information:-
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PLAISTERS LANE.
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has issued a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984.
All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along PLAISTERS LANE from the junction with Coombe Valley Road to the junction with Sutton Close, a distance of approximately 700 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise likelihood of danger to Highway Users.
It will come into operation on the 7th July 2018 and remain in force for 5 days. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 08th July 2018. The closure will be in operation between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs daily.
This Notice will enable HSC Solent on behalf of British Telecom safe access to renew a BT pole.
